38 weeks and Remembering Lot
It isn't what we expected. It isn't what we wanted. A week has passed and I haven't gone in labor. I am starting to worry. I am starting to lose faith.

Selfless Love of a Mother
Being a mom is no joke. Toughest priceless job that only God can give to a woman. It was a privilege indeed that sometimes you would think why'd you even accepted it.
See, you're on call 24/7, no holidays, actually the holidays are the busiest days in a year. You are not only a mother during those days but you suddenly become a cook, dishwasher, event planner, party host, game master, grocery shopper and when something fails in the kitchen, they will surely judge.

My Pregnancy
Hi everyone! I think I just have to release the whole story behind this pregnancy.
I have been very open with regards to my health, our choices, even posting it here on my blog and to other social media site. Instead of explaining from one people to another, let me just set things straight to avoid confusion.
Not to sound rude or anything, we do appreciate everyone's concern, we really feel special that a lot of you take time to send message or call us everyday (as in everyday) kahit na hindi naman kame artista. I guess in a way you are also excited for us. On the other hand, it did add a little pressure on my side because some doesn't understand what's going on.

A-Z of Pregnancy
Since I am not close to giving birth yet (yes, who knew!) let me just write another entry. I felt the need to help every woman be educated on the things, most especially to some of the terms that you will hear from day one and for the rest of your life.
Remember what I told on my last blog, you must be as smart as your doctor? Well this is your chance.
A
ACTIVE LABOR - Usually around 4-7cm of dilation and this is where contractions might be more consistent and frequent. Also the time where the hospital admits you.
AMNIOTIC SAC - Also called bag of waters where the fetus developed. Rupture can mean that labor is about to follow.

Journey to 37 something weeks Part 2: The Medical Side
It has been said by many that there is no greater pain than Jesus' suffering or for us women --- CHILDBIRTH.
Well if you are wondering how did we end up experiencing labor pains, let me take you back in the days of Adam and Eve.
On John MacArthur's book: Twelve Extraordinary Women, I felt God's wrath when He learned Eve's disobedience:
Genesis 3:13
And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”
The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

Journey to 37 something weeks Part 1
I am no newbie in parenting. We have been proud parents to our beautiful daughter for almost 5 years now and I must say it has been a roller coaster ride ever since.
Way back dating years, husband and I have been talking about how many kids we wanted in our future life. We both agreed to two kids, a boy and a girl.

Old school - Homeschool
Remember when you are forced to wake up at five in the morning, shower in the cold and eat breakfast at 5:30 because the school bus will come and pick you up at 6? How about when your parents drag you to the mall in June to buy school supplies and the bookstore's line is just unbearable?
Most parents would say, "that's the reality of life, suck it up!" But my husband and I are not most parents.
